Number of positive corona tests again sharply increased, intensive care continues to empty | Inland

More than 22,000 confirmed infections have been reported in the past seven days. A week ago, there were less than 4,600 for the period of the seven days before.

Intensive cares

There are currently 86 corona patients in Dutch intensive care units. That is 4 fewer patients than Thursday, reports the National Coordination Center for Patients Spreading (LCPS). The number of corona patients in the nursing wards has increased by 14 in the past 24 hours.

Nursing units are currently treating 120 people with Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. On Thursday, there were still 106. A total of 206 corona patients are now in Dutch hospitals, ten more than a day earlier.
