According to Sciensano, all 10 infections are linked to the Darklands Festival in Antwerp at the beginning of last month or a trip to Portugal or Spain. In one patient it is not yet known where the infection comes from. Last Wednesday, the counter was still at 6 infections.
Anyone who is infected must isolate until the rash has disappeared. High-risk contacts do not need to be in isolation, but should be extra careful with people with reduced immunity, pregnant women and children, and should be extra vigilant for symptoms.
