Number of daily corona infections slightly decreases | Inland

This means a decrease compared to Saturday, when 1231 infections were detected. That amounted to 7.1 people tested positive for every 100,000 inhabitants.

On Wednesday, the corona dashboard reported 1,140 new cases. That was the first time since April that the daily figure exceeded a thousand.

Amsterdam showed an increase. 193 new infections were reported here on Sunday, against 166 on Saturday. Rotterdam also showed an increase compared to Saturday. 108 new cases were reported here, up from 88 on Saturday. On Sunday there were 83 new cases in the municipality of The Hague.

Intensive care

There are 36 corona patients in intensive care. That is 1 less than Saturday. In addition, 572 people with other conditions lie on the ic beds, 24 fewer than on Saturday. In total, there are therefore 608 patients in the intensive care units, 25 fewer than the day before. The number of corona admissions outside the ic is 148, which is 10 more than Saturday. A total of 184 corona patients were therefore admitted, according to data from the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS). Chairman Ernst Kuipers of the National Acute Care Network: “The number of admitted Covid patients continues to rise, it is now at the highest level since 1 July.”
