TRIBUN-BALI.COM, GIANYAR – Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Sanjiwani Gianyar, Bali, adding 22 beds for Covid-19 patients.

This is because since about two weeks ago, the number of patients has continued to increase.

They even have to be treated in the Emergency Room (ER), waiting for an empty room.

However, as of July 28, 2021, all Covid-19 patients treated in the ER have received treatment in isolation rooms.

Information collected Bali Tribune, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, for the past two weeks, health workers (nakes) at the Sanjiwani Hospital have been overwhelmed with handling Covid-19 patients.

This is because the number of patients has increased, while not a few local health workers have fallen exposed to Covid-19.

This imbalance between staff and patients causes the health workers to take jobs outside of their duties.

For example, officers in the midwifery room are now helping officers in the ER to deal with Covid-19.

In addition, at this time there is also a change in the function of the room.
