The number of Dutch corona patients in intensive care fell to 1,201 on Saturday. That is 34 patients less than Friday. Ernst Kuipers, chairman of the National Network Acute Care, announced this on Saturday afternoon.
Kuipers speaks of a “steady further decline” in the number of corona patients on ICs in Dutch hospitals, which is now at 1,149.
52 Dutch corona patients are still in ICU departments in German hospitals, the same number as Friday.
It is the seventh day in a row that more corona patients left the IC than were added. The latest increase in the number of IC patients was recorded last Saturday.
In the past 24 hours, there have been four transfers between regions, three of which to an IC department. Kuipers calls the available capacity “stable”.
The number of non-corona patients in the Dutch IC departments remained “unchanged low” at 356, according to Kuipers. Usually there are about 800.
