Number of corona patients in hospitals further decreased | Inland

There are still 34 people in intensive care with the corona virus. That’s two less than Thursday. The number of corona patients in nursing wards fell from 107 to 100. A week and a day ago, the hospitals treated 39 corona patients in intensive care units and 138 people in nursing wards, making a total of 177.

607 people with other conditions are in intensive care. In total, intensivists therefore treat 641 people. That number has been hovering around 600 for almost three months.

The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment received 507 reports of new corona cases between Thursday morning and Friday morning. On Thursday, the government’s corona dashboard reported 510 positive tests. Just over 3,500 new cases have been reported in recent days.

86 new cases were diagnosed in Amsterdam-Amstelland, including 81 in Amsterdam itself. Since the outbreak began, 666 residents of the capital have been hospitalized, two more than on Thursday. It is the fourth day in a row that the number of infections in Amsterdam-Amstelland remains below a hundred.

80 positive tests were registered in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region. There it is the thirteenth consecutive day with less than a hundred new infections. 56 corona cases came to light in Rotterdam itself.

The province of Noord-Brabant had 88 new cases. Of these, 34 were positive tests in Brabant-Southeast (Eindhoven and surroundings), 27 in Brabant-North and also 27 in Central and West Brabant. The Haaglanden region recorded 50 new cases and 34 people tested positive in the province of Utrecht.
