Number of corona patients in hospitals continues to fall | Inland

It is the first time since November 22 that the number of corona patients admitted to hospitals has fallen below 2,500.

Nursing units are currently treating 1,834 people with Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. That is 89 fewer patients compared to Thursday. 186 new patients were admitted, but because more people were allowed to leave the wards, the total number of occupied beds fell.

Employees of the intensive care units are currently still treating 622 corona patients, one less than on Thursday. 38 new seriously ill people with Covid-19 were admitted to the ICUs, but because more people died or were moved to another department, the occupation fell.

It is the fifth day in a row that the number of corona patients in hospitals has decreased. The influx of new patients is also falling, the LCPS already stated this week.
