Number of corona patients in hospital down slightly again | Inland

In the past ten days, the number of patients admitted has fallen nine times. A week and a half ago, the hospitals treated 2,653 corona patients. This means that 472 beds were released in ten days.

The nursing units have admitted 170 corona patients in the last 24 hours, while 204 people left those wings. There are now 1,572 corona patients on the nursing wards, 34 fewer than a day ago. How many of the 204 patients were allowed to go home or to a rehabilitation center, and how many of them were transferred to an IC or died is unknown.

The intensive care units admitted 32 corona patients last 24 hours and saw 18 people leave. As a result, the number of patients on ICs rose slightly, from 595 to 609. Again, it is not known how many of the 18 died and how many were allowed back to a nursing ward.

The number of corona patients on ICs has now fluctuated around 600 for over a week.

In the past 24 hours, 31 people have been moved to hospitals in other parts of the country. In nearly eight weeks, more than 1,200 people have now spread across the country. This should ease the pressure on hospitals, so that the care for other patients can continue to run as much as possible.

There are now 1,572 corona patients on the nursing wards, 34 fewer than a day ago.
