Number of corona infections increases by 744 | Inland

On Wednesday, the number of cases increased by 734, due to a technical failure on Tuesday. Then regional health services were unable to pass on information for a while. Now there is no malfunction, as far as RIVM can estimate.

The RIVM publishes the weekly figures and an explanation every Tuesday. It also states how people became infected, as far as this is known.

In recent weeks, the number of reports has fluctuated around five hundred per day.

The number of corona patients in intensive care increased from 28 to 35 on Friday. There are 95 people with the corona virus in the nursing wards, the same number as on Thursday. Ernst Kuipers, chairman of the National Network Acute Care, does think that the number of corona patients admitted will remain low and stable.
