Number of corona infections in Aruba continues to increase | Inland

Almost 16,000 people have already been tested. Most of it took place in the past two weeks. From the beginning of August, Aruba has experienced an explosive increase in the number of corona infections. Until the end of July, the number of infections was just over a hundred.

150 active infections with the corona virus are known on St. Maarten (more than 42,000 inhabitants). In addition, 119 people have since recovered from the virus. Nine people are in the hospital. Nearly 1,700 people have been tested on the island since the start of the corona crisis.

One active infection is known on Curaçao (about 160,000 inhabitants) on Friday. Thirty people have recovered there.
