Number of corona infections in Amsterdam Nieuw-West rises sharply | Inland

1907 corona cases were diagnosed throughout Amsterdam last week. That is 57 percent more than in the previous week. In New West, the number of positive tests has almost doubled. Last week 404 infections came to light, the week before 218. The GGD in Amsterdam-Amstelland does not give a cause.

In the week of September 7 to 13, Amsterdam-Zuidoost also had 218 positive tests, the same number as Nieuw-West. Last week that number increased slightly. Southeast came to 235 new cases. Converted to the number of inhabitants of the district, this is the highest number in Amsterdam. Southeast last week had 26.2 positive tests for every 10,000 inhabitants, in Nieuw-West this was 25.2 and in the whole of Amsterdam 21.8.
