I have a feeling that mainly ‘techies’ have gone to Mastodon.
Let that be just the niche that I find interesting.
In addition, there were of course already some other, also quite niche, communities. Some of them are also very cool.
Fortunately, that one and a half million is quality over quantity. Mastodon’s signal-to-noise is certainly a lot higher than Twitter for me.
For now, a keeper for me. And what if it’s not the new Twitter? I also post here in the Tweakers community and others again very extensively on the forum, which has an even smaller number of “DAU” or “MAU”, but it certainly does not make it without value.
