Anyone who has suffered storm or water damage that requires assistance from the fire brigade can submit a request via the e-counter www.1722.be or call 1722. 112 may only be called for potentially life-threatening situations.
The RMI has issued code yellow for Thursday afternoon in the east of the country, due to the risk of thunderstorms with a chance of hail and/or a lot of precipitation in a short time. Locally more than 20 mm of rain can fall in an hour. The RMI also points out that the weather situation for Thursday is “complex” so that its forecasts can still be adjusted.
