The 19th edition of the Nuit des Musées will be held on Saturday 13 May. That evening, the museums will open their doors free of charge from nightfall until midnight. The opportunity to discover the major exhibitions in progress, or to take part in one of the activities on offer.
Several highlights await you in Nice. We start with the BAIT at 7 p.m. with circus. The Company El Tercer Ojo explores the phenomenon of the circle of ants, so strange on a human scale. Highlight of the evening: the lighting of Yves Klein’s wall of fire at 11:30 p.m. on the roof terrace.

A very British event at Massena Museum which celebrates the link between the Côte d’Azur and Great Britain. On Monday May 7, 2018, the Prince of Wales and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, were in France, in particular in Nice, for a first official visit, in order to celebrate the historic links between the Côte d’Azur and Grande- Brittany. Five years later, on May 6, 2023, he was crowned and bore the title of Charles III. The Masséna museum pays tribute to this event by presenting a retrospective of this meeting, including the diploma of honorary citizen, as well as archival documents on the English presence on the Riviera.
Au Jules Chéret Museum of Fine Arts, finally, we will play on the links between art and cooking with a tasting visit. A sensory visit with chefs Daniele and Diane Mundo at the helm.
