“What we can tell you today is that Nuevo León is going to be the first state in Mexico that is going to vaccinate its entire population, we will have the capacity if we vaccinate 5,000 a day,” Garcia said.
The vaccines will be used within the Cross-Border Vaccination Program, which began last week.
Immunization will be expanded from 3,000 daily vaccinations to 5,000. According to García, the doses will be applied from Monday to Sunday.
At a press conference in the entity, García assured that Nuevo León, the only entity in the country that carries out the vaccination of minors, has better immunization rates, even – he added – than several European countries, including France, Germany and England.
