Digital meetings prove to be a difficult activity for a Canadian parliamentarian. William Amos has stepped back after appearing on camera peeing during a virtual parliament session. The politician had already been discredited a month earlier because he was filmed naked during another digital meeting.

The troubled relationship between Amos and his webcam has consequences. The MP went to the dust on Twitter, saying “seek help.” Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s party colleague, in his own words, had not realized that the camera was running. He added that he was very ashamed of his own behavior and the possible shock of people who witnessed it.
46-year-old Amos from Quebec remains a member of parliament, but “temporarily” says goodbye to a number of positions he held there, including on committees.
