At the end of the film there is a barely concealing scene that shows the racial actress naked – with tramp stamp on the lower back. The remarkable image has not escaped the attention of Twitter users, because the moment was extensively commented on on social media.

That the scene made it into the film is remarkable, because opponent Leonardo DiCaprio was not in favor of a naked Streep. “He sees Meryl as a film monument,” director Adam McKay told The Guardian. “To show her naked, with such a striking tattoo on her lower back, he thought that was a bridge too far. He asked for the scene to be censored, but there was no response.”
