Thorne earned about $ 2 million in a few days on Onlyfans, a platform where fans pay for ‘exclusive’ content from their idol. But the nude models and porn actresses who depend on Only fans for their livelihoods are angry: suddenly a 22-year-old Hollywood star appeared on ‘their’ platform to grab all the attention and money.

Thorne now claims she came to Onlyfans to ‘draw attention to the site’ and ‘take away the stigma surrounding sex work and porn’. She admits that things turned out differently, and that she regrets it.

The users who paid for Thorne’s videos and photos weren’t entirely happy either. First they charged 20 euros for a monthly subscription, and then another 200 dollars for three photos. According to a number of Onlyfans models, those users have been cheated: Thorne would have given the impression that there would be naked. When that turned out not to be the case, users would have claimed their money back from Onlyfans.

Result: Onlyfans now bans amounts above $ 50, which limits the income of the models.
