Nuclearelectrica, the only producer of nuclear energy, listed on the Stock Exchange under the symbol SNN, informed the capital market that, on September 19, it established a term deposit with Exim Banca Românească, without extension, in the total amount of 200 million lei.
The annual percentage rate of interest that applies to the deposit is 6.45%. The deadline is March 19, 2024, according to a BVB report.
“We specify the fact that, on 19.09.2023, SNN has deposits with Exim Banca Românească in the cumulative value of 1,289,017,000.00 lei (Annex no. 1), an amount that exceeds 5% of the value of SNN’s net assets, as and 10% of the net turnover related to the last annual financial statement”, the document states.

SNN shares rose by 9.7% this year, on a turnover of 335 million lei, displaying a capitalization of 14 billion lei. The BET and BET-NG indices appreciated by 24% and 26% respectively in 2023.
