In a month, on December 1, the creators of the children’s program “Tutas things” will release the second music album for children “Nu-ku-smalki-shiki-drū”. It is already possible to get acquainted with the title song of the album, which tells about the most polite name in the world, the authors of the project informed in a press release
The children have loved not only Tut and her lovely friends – Fox and Feneca, but also the beautiful songs included in the show, written by singer and composer Laura Polence. The new season series includes five original songs and two Latvian folk songs / games. The author of all Tuta’s original songs is the Latvian composer Laura Polence, who lives in Amsterdam, but the lyrics to the songs were written by the poet Kārlis Vērdiņš, the poet Edvards Kuks and Elizabete Lukšo-Ražinska.
You can watch the adventures and discoveries of Tuta and her friends In the children’s room.
The songs were sung by Laura herself, and instrumental compositions were played by Breno Viricimo, Rūdolfs Dankfelds and Lucas Figueiredo Santana alongside Polence. The music album will be recorded at Breno Viricimo’s studio in Amsterdam.
The album’s title song “Nu-ku-smalki-shiki-drū” offers children a new magic word that can be used instead of “thank you” and “please” for both courtesy and fun. The magic word was invented, and the lyrics were written by the poet Edward Cook. A separate series dedicated to Nu-ku-finalki-shiki-drū, which also includes a video of the song.
