NTT Provincial KPA Holds World Aids Day 2020 Commemoration at Class II A Kupang Prison
POS-KUPANG.COM | KUPANG– The NTT Province Aids Management Commission held a commemoration activity for World Aids Day 2020 at the Class II A Correctional Institution in Kupang. The activity which was held on Tuesday, 01/12/2020 was also accompanied by an HIV test for prison inmates.

To POS-KUPANG.COM, Secretary KPA NTT Province, dr. Husein Pancratius said that today’s activity was a collaboration of several agencies and was a good step to resolve the HIV / Aids problem in NTT.
The most ideal data to determine the number of patients infected with HIV is the health center or within one sub-district. This is to facilitate the analysis of the accuracy of the data.
Puskesmas must be the main media for HIV eradication.
HIV, said dr. Husein, is closely related to the sociogram (social relations between people and people). Therefore, if everyone in one area collaborates in overcoming HIV then this problem will be easily resolved.
The main target is to stop the spread of HIV, he continued, to check people who have 90% risky sex.
It was said that dr. Husein, the community should be trained and given outreach to monitor people who have risky sex.
He added that people infected with HIV must take medicine. They also need to be given socialization related to the Three Zero program.
The commemoration of World Aids Day is only a motivation for people affected by “tragedies” to eradicate HIV.
