A lecturer at a university in NTT, Ferdinandus Bele Sole or FBS (37), allegedly abused a 13-year-old boy in I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. FBS, who is said to have been detained in Bali, is listed as a doctoral student at Yogyakarta State University (UNY).
UNY Chancellor Sumaryanto confirmed the news. Currently, UNY has deactivated FBS as a student.
“That’s right. While waiting for the criminal case, we pendingwe offthe student activities concerned. While waiting for the criminal verdict,” said Sumaryanto when contacted by journalists, reported detikJatengFriday (13/1/2023).
Sumaryanto said that FBS was listed as an early semester doctoral student. FBS studied at UNY since the undergraduate level.
“That’s right (S-1, S-2 at UNY), S-3 also at UNY. Basic Education S3 Faculty of Education,” said Sumaryanto.
“At this time we off. You can’t be active as a student while waiting for an official decision on your criminal status,” he added.
