Libreville, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – Under the impetus of Carmelia Ntoutoume Leclercq, councilor in this commune, a new concept has just been initiated in the neighborhoods of the first arrondissement.
In order to boost development in the neighborhoods of the first district of the commune of Ntoum, a new concept has just been launched. Called “A district, a project”, aims to go to the populations in order to discuss and exchange on priority projects which will then have to know quick answers. By crisscrossing, for this purpose, for almost a month the neighborhoods of the first arrondissement of the municipality of Ntoum, Carmelia Ntoutoume Leclercq, councilor of the said municipality and initiator of the project, and her running mate aim to change the appearance of these neighborhoods. “We have done a lot of things and more still need to be done. This concept is a ‘district, a project’ which will allow us to get in touch with the populations to refine their priorities for which we intend to provide answers quickly”, she indicated.
A real response to the concerns of the people of this region who, like the majority of Gabonese people, are demanding employment, empowerment, better schooling conditions for their children, roads, water and electricity. This initiative of Meyang’s daughter was greatly appreciated and encouraged by the citizens during the launch phase around the heads of neighborhoods and during the passage of teams in the neighborhoods. “It is an innovation that I would like to salute here. A participatory initiative that puts all the advisers and the populations who feel fully involved in perfect harmony”, rejoiced Nkoghe Mba Nkoghe Obame, one of the district chiefs of Ntoum.
