NSV online blitz tournament on Sunday – NSV

NSV online blitz tournament on Sunday

Thursday June 24, 2021 from Benjamin Lohnhardt

The NSV online blitz tournament June 2021 starts on Sunday at 2 p.m. (invitation as PDF). After the Nord-West Online Team Cup started with a positive response on the Lichess gaming platform, we will now also hold an individual tournament there.

To register for the NSV online blitz tournament June 2021, two steps are necessary:

  • Join the Lichess team “NSV & Friends (chess in Lower Saxony)“. To be accepted into the LichessTeam, an association or place of residence in Lower Saxony or Bremen is required and the real name must be given (must be given in the application for membership). There are currently over 70 people in this Lichess team.
  • Furthermore you have to go to the tournament (after acceptance in the Lichess team) within the team NSV Online Blitz 27.06.2021 Sign in. So far, 23 people have done this. Only if you have activated participation in the tournament on Lichess will you be drawn in the first round on Sunday.

On the day of the tournament, in addition to the table on Lichess on the NSV website, a live table with the real names of the participants can be viewed. This dissolves the anonymity and you can find out which possibly known face is hidden behind the Lichess pseudonym. Below is the list of participants as an example.

You can remain in the Lichess team for further online tournaments. In this case, the first step is omitted for future tournaments and you will be informed of further tournaments via the lichess mechanisms. Speaking of information flow: For those interested there are now two more information channels to be consumed in the form of one Whatsapp group as Telegram group. In the future, information on online tournaments of the NSV will also be announced via these channels. Both groups can be joined via the invitation link:
