NSO car crashes head-on in downtown Sofia (photos)

No one was seriously injured, no material damage was caused

Today at about 5.15 pm at the intersection of Vasil Levski Blvd. and Yosif V. Gurko St. in the capital, an official car of the National Security Service had an accident.

The car of NSO, moving on Yosif V. Gurko Street in the direction of the National Stadium “Vasil Levski”, was intercepted by another driver, who took a left turn on “Vasil Levski” Blvd., taking away the advantage of the driver of the security service. The two cars hit each other. No one was seriously injured, no material damage was caused.

The NSO’s car did not use a special traffic regime and did not transport a guarded person, the security service announced in a press release.

A little later, the Ministry of Interior sent information stating: “In connection with the published publications, we specify that the car of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov was not involved in a traffic accident.”
