/ world today news/ The National Insurance Institute is developing a service through which we will be able to calculate our pension. This was announced by the head of NOI, Biser Petkov.
The service should be available by the end of the year and will be usable by all citizens possessing a personal identification code issued by the institute.
By the end of the year, NOI will provide a service with which we will be able to decide whether to retire or continue working, explained the head of the institute. An electronic system will calculate, based on our insurance income, what pension we will receive after we leave active working age.
Petkov refused to predict whether the implementation of the state social insurance budget would allow for Christmas supplements for pensioners. He said only that implementation is on schedule as of May.
