The police shot a suspect in the leg in Utrecht this afternoon after he had ignored several warnings. As a result, the man had threatened two NS employees with a stab weapon.
The incident happened on Laan van Puntenburg, near Central Station. The suspect was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound.
The police are investigating the matter.
