The NRK series “Makta” won the honorary award at the Cannes International Festival for Series.
The festival will announce the award winners in an Instagram post on Wednesday evening.
Here it comes to light that NRK’s next major venture “Makta” has won a prize in the “best series” category during the festival which is being held from 14 to 19 April.
“Makta” will start broadcasting in the autumn of 2023. Here, the drama in the Labor Party in the 1970s and the heated personal dispute between Gro Harlem Brundtland and Reiulf Steen are recreated.
Kathrine Thorborg Johansen plays the role of Gro Harlem Brundtland.
The creators and creators of the series are Silje Storstein and Kristin Grue.
The series is produced by Motlys and Novemberfilm for NRK.
