Radio stations of the NPO no longer play songs by Ali B and Marco Borsato. The public broadcaster took that decision in response to the broadcast of BOOS about sexually transgressive behavior at The Voice of Holland, a spokesperson for the NPO reported.
“We see the shocking stories in BOOS and the enormous outrage among the public about it. That is why we have decided to no longer include the music in the playlists of the NPO radio stations,” said the spokesperson.
He cannot say whether and when the music of the two artists will be played on NPO channels again. Commercial channel Qmusic will also stop playing the two artists for the time being.
Publisher stops selling self-help book Ali B
Earlier, Maven Publishing announced the sale of Ali B’s self-help book, titled The Ali B Method, to stop immediately. The publishing house said it was shocked by the allegations of sexually transgressive behavior against the rapper.
On Saturday RTL already decided to The Voice of Holland from the tube and all recordings were stopped in consultation with producer ITV. The episodes of the program can no longer be seen on Videoland either. Episodes of the program have been removed, according to an RTL spokesperson “to protect the participants”. Also all social media channels of The Voice of Holland have been taken offline.

About singer and ex-Voice coach Marco Borsato are according to BOOS reports came from six women, three of whom were minors when the incidents occurred.
Voice coach Ali B is accused of, among other things, rape and groping of women. A candidate who was 18 at the time says in BOOS that she was raped by the rapper.
The rapper maintains that he joins The Voice of Holland has never been guilty of sexually transgressive behaviour. “I have never had or sought any sexual relationship with a candidate.”
