With regard to the development of the weather and the warnings of meteorologists, which cannot be taken lightly, the NP Šumava strongly recommends that people skip walking around all watercourses and forest stands on the territory of the NP and PLA Šumava this coming weekend. The heavy rain is to be joined by fresh winds that can break and uproot trees, which is life-threatening.
For these reasons, the Šumava NP Administration is canceling all planned outdoor programs for the public, including guided walks into the wilderness.
