Nowoczesna wants to ban MN and the National Guard

Nowoczesna has applied to ban the Independence March and the National Guard associations – Katarzyna Lubnauer from Nowoczesna announced on RMF FM. The former head of this party, although she accused both organizations of what they were proposing was “fascism”, she had problems with explaining where it manifested itself.

Nowoczesna wants to ban MN and the National Guard

What our nationalists are proposing is fascism

– said the former head of Nowoczesna, but when asked about what this “fascism” was, she had problems with the answer.

Well, first of all, all that our nationalists propose is fascism, it is indeed an action inconsistent with the constitution, because we have such actions as inconsistent with Polish law

— Lubnauer tried to explain.

But neither of these organizations nor in the statute (…)

—The journalist tried to interfere.

Let’s see in actions. Second – being a militia. The militants who, theoretically, under the pretext of defending the church in their time, behaved aggressively towards the protesting women. Anyway, let’s recall what happened on the Independence March last year – throwing a flare at someone’s apartment. This led to a fire

-she said.

Had Lubnauer forgotten that the National Guard was defending churches against devastation by protesters? But even if it were otherwise, where is fascism?

When asked if she was “angry” yesterday and about the rally at Castle Square, she replied:

I think we are all furious if they try to get us out of the European Union.

She also referred to the speech by Wanda Traczyk-Stawska and her words to Robert Bąkiewicz.

Indeed, incl. as Wanda Traczyk-Stawska spoke, and here I must say that her text entitled “Silence (…) man, (…) you are finished,” he best reflected what we heard. An attempt to drown out not only them, but also the anthem. As we all sang the anthem, those who call themselves nationalists – drowned out

—Lubnauer lied because, as we know, the counter-demonstrators also sang the anthem at that time.

What’s next?

During the conversation, there was also a question about the words of Donald Tusk, who after the demonstration wrote on Twitter that “to be continued”. What does it mean?

We will not let go

—She argued, although apparently she herself had no idea what Tusk wanted to convey.

Donald Tusk, as the leader of the largest party of the Civic Coalition, announces that we will not let go, we will not allow PiS to remove us from the European Union

—The MP repeated.

A broad coalition

There was also a thread in the conversation about the future elections. Lubnauer stressed that the opposition, in order to win, must form a “broad coalition”.

If we want to win the next election, we must have higher support than Law and Justice. And for this purpose, it is necessary to create broad coalitions. Will Szymon Hołownia and his Poland 2050? If only there is a will, then yes. Or PSL? Yes

—The deputy underlined.
