Bitter critics picked out the big stop sign. But the cinema audience happily flocked anyway, and allowed themselves to be entertained by the (h)Christmas weekend’s big Swedish comedy venture “Ett sista race”. The success was a fact – over 260,000 visitors joined the journey. Three months later it is now streaming – thank TV4 Play+ for the Easter gift!
The film is about the street racing legend Dennis who lived his whole life on the wrong side of the law. He has now decided to start living the responsible and quiet life. Something that soon breaks up when Dennis finds out that his daughter Hanna is going to participate in a race with her new boyfriend Charlie.
To stop Hanna, Dennis and his ex-wife Tove set out on a journey to bring their daughter home. It is the beginning of a breathtaking final race with speed, fan and high revs through Sweden.
Edward of Sillén (“Part of my heart”) is the director. He has a star-studded ensemble with him David Hellenius, Malin Åkerman, Johan Glans, Peter Dalle, Painted Gårdinger, Jonas Karlsson and Johan Ulveson i spetsen
“Ett sista race” is released today exclusively on streaming at TV4 Play+, where the cheapest subscription (with advertising) costs SEK 59.
