Now you can get up to 4 TB of iCloud storage

With the current iCloud plan, the maximum level is 2 TB. Even though there is plenty of storage space, some iPhone users are already filling it with thousands of photos and 4K videos and so on. To this day, those people don’t have enough – but with Rilis Apple One, it is now possible to get up to 4 TB of the total iCloud space.

Every Apple One plan includes some iCloud storage; The Apple One Individual plan contains 50 GB, the Apple One Family plan contains 200 GB, and the Apple One Premier plan contains 2 TB.

This storage quota does not depend on your normal iCloud plan. So you can go to one of the Apple One layers and then add an extra 50GB, 200GB or 2TB via the normal iCloud level. ICloud plan prices don’t change if you have an Apple One. As a reminder, Apple currently charges $ 0.99 per month for 50 GB, $ 2.99 per month for 200 GB and $ 9.99 per month for 2 TB.

Overall, the new cover for iCloud storage on a single Apple ID is 4 TB. It costs $ 39.98 per month – $ 29.99 for the Apple One Premier and $ 9.99 for the 2 TB plan. For the price, you get iCloud in addition to Apple Music Family, Apple Arcade, Apple TV +, Apple News +, and Apple Fitness +.

(Customers who aren’t interested in Apple’s content services and just want more storage will obviously be frustrated that they can’t buy additional storage without paying for all of the Apple One Premier in the process.)

I recently upgraded to the Apple One and it says I have 4TB of storage. Why?

Apple One storage and your existing iCloud plan are treated separately. So if you upgrade to the Apple One, you will have to cancel your current iCloud plan if you don’t want to. See how much storage you have in Settings -> Apple ID -> iCloud.

To cancel your iCloud storage plan and rely solely on Apple One, tap Manage Storage -> Change Storage Plan -> Lower Option and select ‘None’. This will prevent your iCloud plan from renewing again and your storage space will be reduced again that day.
