Now Xiaomi is bigger than Apple

A new report on the global smartphone market from the research institute Canalys came last week with extremely good news for the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Xiaomi.

Samsung is still the largest with a market share of 19% in the second quarter of 2021, but Xiaomi has experienced an insanely large growth of 83% compared to the same period in 2020 and can now boast a global market share of 17% followed by Apple, which is in third place with a market share of 14%.
