Tesla has made changes to the configurator on its website that will make more Norwegian Tesla fans cheer loudly. To meet high demand within the original timeline, the first Model Y deliveries will take place in Norway in August, according to a message from Tesla.
The launch model will be Model Y Long Range four-wheel drive (AWD), and customers who have an order with expected delivery in 2021 are now invited to complete their order.
The Long Range model has an estimated range of 505 kilometers, seats seven with an optional third row of seats and makes 0-100 in 3.7 seconds, powered by two independent electric motors.
Tesla’s design studio has also been updated to include the Enhanced Autopilot package available for other Tesla models in Europe.
The mid-size SUV is also compatible with the current Supercharger network, which has more than 6,000 charging posts across Europe. The car can also charge at the new V3 Superchargers, which provide up to 1,600 kilometers of range per hour. When charging with a Supercharger, Tesla promises 270 kilometers range in 15 minutes.
