Teuvo Hakkarainen, who represented Basic Finns in the EU Parliament, did not qualify as PS’s European election candidate for the second time. The matter was confirmed on Tuesday, when Perussuomalaiset announced its last European election candidates.

Hakkarainen received almost 30,000 votes in the last EU elections as a candidate of basic Finns.

Hakkarainen says that he decided on his candidacy on Tuesday.
