Microsoft came on Thursday this week with an update to the company Flight Simulator which focuses on our more domestic funnels, what we say the Nordic countries.
This will mean that many landscapes and buildings in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden are reproduced in a more realistic way than before when the update is installed. The images must be in 4K resolution.
Microsoft has released a video showing some of the highlights. From Norway you can see flights near Preikestolen, Nærøyfjorden, Nidarosdomen and Frognerparken. And from our neighboring countries you can now get a nicer, virtual flight over, among other places, Copenhagen and Helsinki, as well as close to a number of castles, airports, bridges and natural tourist attractions.
In total, better data is promised for 100 airports and 78 carefully selected points of interest. Also included are separate experience routes from each of the Nordic countries.

The update, called World Update V: Nordics, is freely available to anyone who has the latest version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
