– As it looks now, it will probably definitely be the best weather in Eastern Norway. Locally, it will mostly be between 22 to 24 degrees today.
The meteorologist on duty at the Meteorological Institute, Ingvild Villa, told Dagbladet on Monday morning.
In several places, it is also likely that you will experience temperatures above 30 degrees, if you are to believe the meteorologists on Twitter.
Now the heat is coming to southern Norway🌡️For the first time so far this year, there are more places than Vossevangen that will experience temperatures above 30 degrees in the south, and it will be warmest on Wednesday. We consider it unlikely that the Norwegian record from 1970 of 35.6 degrees in Nesbyen will break. pic.twitter.com/6LiftEFQ13

The capital woke up to light rain and a gray sky, but throughout the day the weather in Oslo will be much better, if one is to believe the meteorologist.
– It probably looks like it will dry up during the afternoon. From this afternoon, it will only be a light cloud cover, so then there are enough opportunities to enjoy yourself outside today.
– Wife Norwegian summer
The weather in the rest of the country will not be as good.
– From Western Norway and northwards, it really only gets gray. This is due to a low pressure coming in from the southwest. In addition to rain, they will also get some cooler air masses that provide slightly lower temperatures here.
Villa emphasizes that so large amounts of precipitation have not yet been reported that it is relevant to send out any danger warning.
– In short, it is about a rich Norwegian summer, says the meteorologist.
Later in the week, however, the weather will be better, also in Western Norway and north.
– Warmer air will come from the south. It is the same air masses that lead to the heat wave further south in Europebut we can not compare the temperatures at all, says Villa.
Nevertheless, heat will spread over large parts of the country.
– Then you can reach 20 degrees Celsius, also in several places in northern Norway.
