TikTok will suspend its live broadcasts

As has been announced in recent days, different services have been suspended in Russia, a few days ago it was the case of Facebook and Twitter and this time it is Netflix, Spotify and TikTok, networks that have restricted access to this country.

More and more digital platforms are joining the restriction of their services in the Russian country, this as a protest against the invasion of its neighboring country, Ukraine.

TikTok announced that it will suspend its live broadcasts, as well as the upload of videos, this measure will be in force until they review the implications of the new media law signed by the Russian president.

Meanwhile, for the Netflix platform, he shared that he suspended his service as a protest against the attacks on Ukraine.

“Given the circumstances on the ground, we have decided to suspend our service in Russia,” one of the platform’s spokespersons shared.

It is worth mentioning that the streaming platform also stopped all the projects it had in Russia in recent days.

Spotify did not take long to join the cessation, as it also announced the cancellation of its premium services in that country and commented that the decision was made due to the sanctions that Russia has imposed on other companies.
