Now it gets hot and wet – VG

SUNSHINE: Eastern Norway will most likely get the best temperatures tomorrow with as much as 15 degrees.

On Wednesday, parts of the country will have abnormally high temperatures up to 15 degrees and sunshine, while others will have a rainy day.

Published:

– It looks like there will be quite high temperatures in Eastern Norway and north tomorrow, with higher temperatures than what is normal for the season, says on-duty meteorologist Elin Tronvoll to VG on Tuesday night.

She explains that a low pressure passes through the night, which carries warm air over large parts of the country.

– How hot it gets depends on the sun. But for Oslo and Eastern Norway, it looks bright, and it can be up to 15 guards if everything plays on a team, she says.

Warmer than usual in several places in the country

The low pressure comes from southwestern Europe, and will gradually move elsewhere. Therefore, it is not only Eastern Norway that can enjoy the heat on Wednesday.

– It will also be warmer in Vestfold, Telemark and Buskerud compared to normal, and the heat can carry on all the way up to Nordland, says Tronvoll.

Sørlandet is also one of the lucky parts of the country that get higher temperatures, but must expect periods of precipitation according to the meteorologist.

Despite much lower temperatures, some snow and stiff gales, Troms and Finnmark have periods of good weather.

– They are actually the ones who run off with the least precipitation tomorrow, Tronvoll says.

The low pressure also leads to precipitation

The temperature can be up to 10 degrees in Trøndelag tomorrow, but Tronvoll points out that the low pressure also brings with it precipitation.

– But there will be periods of stay weather between the rain, she says.

Western Norway, on the other hand, is not as lucky as the rest of the country, and gets a wet day and week. In addition, Sogn og Fjordane gets a strong wind on the coast with a strong gale. It will also affect Rogaland and Hordaland.

– But with a small period of stay weather, and maybe a little local fog. Stavanger may get 13 degrees, which is quite high, she says.

The heat stays on throughout the week

Even if the low pressure passes when the day is over, the temperature will still remain relatively high until October.

– It will go down four to five degrees afterwards, and in Eastern Norway it can be 9-10 degrees throughout the week.

In general, this October has been above the average in Eastern and Southern Norway, and Oslo and Kristiansand have been 1.2 and 1.5 above normal.

She also points out that the weather brings with it a lot of wind.

– It is worth noting that the low pressure brings wind to the mountains and the coast.
