Medvedchuk’s direct speech: “I used to come to Moscow on various matters, I came for one day, I came in the morning, I left in the evening. And now I live in Moscow all the time, by force. I did not leave Ukraine, I was exchanged.”
Details: Medvedchuk also told Channel One that he had seen his youngest daughter Daria. The media has previously revealed that Medvedchuk’s daughter lives in Moscow since at least 2021 and is studying at the Higher School of Economics. Also, probably, her mother Oksana Marchenko, the third wife of Medvedchuk, lives with her.
Speaking about his detention in Ukraine in 2021 on charges of treason, Medvedchuk called that day “the hardest day in my life,” and described his persecution as “terrible grief for the family.”
Medvedchuk said that Ukrainian investigators did not use physical violence against him, and psychological “pressure was constantly applied.”
In January, Medvedchuk said in an interview with RT that he learned about the exchange, which took place on the night of September 22, in a day.
“On the 21st, I was first transferred by plane to Poland, where I was actually on the plane for 12 or 14 hours … But I clearly understood that this exchange would take place when I was transferred from Poland by plane to Ankara, and where I had already left, I saw a Russian plane and understood that this exchange would in fact already take place,” said Putin’s godfather.
This was preceded by: Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that after an unsuccessful attempt to seize all of Ukraine, the Kremlin is hatching a plan “B”, proposals for which should be prepared by Viktor Medvedchuk.
Before that, Viktor Medvedchuk announced plans to create a new political movement in Ukraine in order to allegedly unite the “opponents” of Vladimir Zelensky.
