Now comes the summer: – Here it will be warmest

Large parts of the country have recently been characterized by unstable weather. Now, however, this seems to be reversing. It is a high pressure that builds up, and which will remain. This will now provide sun and heat!

Taste of fine weather

For a long period, there has been an air mass separation in southern Norway, which has resulted in very unstable weather. Now the meteorologists warn that this will change. Already on Thursday morning, several Norwegians got a taste of the fine weather, after a long period with a varying change of weather.

On Wednesday, Bergen had the first day of the year with over 20 degrees, and the fine weather seems to continue.

Meteorologist Iselin Skjervagen says that the weekend can offer high temperatures.

– It will be a sunny weekend, and especially Sørlandet and Østlandet will get a taste of high summer, with radiant heat, Skjervagen informs

It may look like Eastern Norway and Southern Norway will be the weather winners, and it is forecast up to 25 degrees towards the weekend and into next week. Also in Western Norway and in Central Norway it will be a stable sun with a temperature of 18 to 20 degrees.

According to forecasts, Sunday will be the warmest day. The sea temperature will be 10 to 14 degrees, if you want to cool off from the heat.

However, not everyone gets the taste of summer completely yet. Nordland will have a more cloudy weekend, and Skjervagen predicts around 10 to 15 degrees. It may nevertheless appear that the Finnmark area will have the lowest temperatures. Here, the temperature has averaged 10 degrees in recent days, but this now seems to be dropping slightly.

– It will be quite cool, around 6 to 8 degrees. It may also indicate that it will rain in Troms, and sleet in Finnmark. Fortunately, the nonsense will not remain, says Skjevagen.

In Sørlandet, the summer weather will last through the week. The temperature will mostly remain in Western Norway, but there may be rain showers around the middle of the week. Therefore, meteorologists encourage people to take advantage of the fine weather this weekend.

– The summer weather is finally here, and we recommend people to get out, says Skjevagen.
