The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has sent a warning yellow level for snowfall.
The warning is valid for Saturday night, but the morning traffic could be surprised by the snow even on Friday night.
– The danger is greatest in Strynefjellet and northeast to Dovrefjell, says on-duty meteorologist Martin Granerød.
A lot of rainfall is expected in Møre, Romsdal and Trøndelag. Here is a yellow warning for both of us to rain And landslide hazard.
Precipitation can come in the form of snow as soon as the mercury approaches zero degrees. It will do so beyond 1,000 meters.
This can cause difficulties for road travelers. At least early in the morning.

– The ground is warm enough for the snow to melt quickly. It is the intensity that determines whether it will decrease.

– Completely textbook
If you have been thinking about Dovrefjell or Strynefjell in the next few days, then you should be prepared to encounter heavy rain.
– Keep in mind that precipitation will come in the form of snow if it is cold enough. That means allowing more time for transportation and driving, using the right tires and driving according to conditions, says Granerød.
He adds that snowfalls in mid-September are not unusual.
– It’s completely textbook. The temperature gradually drops throughout the fall and snow is expected to arrive as snow in the mountains. Then there will be a period with even higher temperatures and more snow periods during the fall and winter.
