After a difficult week, I am delighted to announce that Windows Everywhere is now available for purchase on Leanpub. While it still isn’t exactly where I want it to be, it is the entire book in its current form and not just a subset. I apologize for any drama earlier this week. Technical issues caused much frustration, but with testing from Rafael, we determined that the fault lied with Leanpub, not me. On Friday morning, Leanpub identified and fixed two issues with the publishing system, which allowed for successful previews and publishing. Before going live, I finished some backend work, including creating a cover design that uses masking and a Windows XP “Bliss” wallpaper. The book is now “complete,” but changes and content additions will occur over time. While I’m not comfortable promoting myself, buying this book and my other titles is the best way to show support.
As we wrap up this article, one thing is clear: Windows Everywhere is here, and it’s changing the game. From mobile devices to gaming consoles, Windows is now accessible on every platform. With the power of universal apps and seamless syncing, users can enjoy a consistent experience across all their devices. Microsoft has truly delivered on their promise of making their operating system ubiquitous. The future of Windows looks bright, and we can’t wait to see what’s next. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and explore the Windows Everywhere universe!
