It all started in August with the Facebook page “Leni’s Bastelzauber”, which became a “self-service house” in Albrechts: Marlene Huber’s space at home became increasingly scarce within a few weeks, so the idea for the self-service house in Albrechts came about 82/2 – which is now completed and is open daily between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
The birth of Marlene Huber’s daughter was the impetus for the craft: she wanted to make the invitations to the baptism herself and tinkered with the cutting machine (“plotter”) – pure interest turned into a real hobby. And so it happened that a business was registered on September 1st. “I’m proud of myself for having managed something like this in such a short time – recently becoming a mother, registering my self-employment, and now I can also present my self-service house,” says Huber, who previously worked at Agrana: “I am also very grateful that my partner supports me at all times!”
A loving gesture, a nice little birthday present, memory boxes, labeled solar lamps or a personalized train for the birth – Marlene Huber has something for every occasion. Upon request, each item can be personalized or designed according to your own wishes. “I’m happy that I keep getting new inquiries and orders – I’m also particularly happy that I can be part of the upcoming Advent markets in the Käsemacherwelt and in Waldenstein!”
The items in the self-service house change seasonally, so more and more Christmas presents and Christmas decorations are currently being brought in. – So it’s worth stopping by again.
