Ubisoft in the solution of financial results revealed just some interesting news from the world of the Assassin’s Creed saga. The publisher stressed that recently revealed Assassin’s Creed Infinity will not be free-to-play like some other currently announced titles. Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said the game will have a lot of story elements.
Infinity is still in its infancy
According to him, it will be a very innovative title, but it will have what Assassin fans expect and love from this brand. It will be a huge game with a lot of things that already exist in the titles we have released before, Guillemot suggested. CFO Frédérick Duguet noted that Infinity is still at the beginning of the development cycle. Probably we’ll wait for another big Assassin for a while. Ubisoft Quebec and Ubisoft Montreal are collaborating on it. Undoubtedly, many others will be involved, as always.
