Noveto Systems presents the revolutionary “SoundBeamer”. Listening in the “bubble” (without headphones) | News

Noveto Systems, an Israeli company specializing in futuristic audio technologies that since its slogan – Transforming How We Experience Audio – aims very high, has devised a futuristic immersive listening system that reproduces the experience in headphones without the need for headphones. We are talking about a revolutionary desktop device, on the prototype of which theAssociated Press has already done some tests, able not only to radiate the sound directly at the height of our ears but also to keep it “in orbit” while we move on the chair or in a room. Others cannot hear it. You yes.

The company talks about sound beaming to describe the device’s ability to create a sound bubble around the listener that would have all the comforts of a great headset with the advantage of not presenting any obstacles between itself and the sound. The magazine has already made an enthusiastic review. «It seems to be inside a sci-fi film – they write – the 3d sound seems so close that it seems to come at the same time, from the inside of the ear, in front, above and behind».

The practical use of the new technology therefore translates into a new dimension of home listening for music and video games, but freedom from headphones is not the only advantage. The company also sees the perfect device for offices and, in general, wherever there is the need to isolate oneself from colleagues, relatives or friends to dedicate ourselves to listening.

Trying to explain it a little more in detail: the technology of the SoundBeamer uses a 3d sensor that autonomously locates and tracks the position of our ears by sending them audio through ultrasonic waves able to stage “sound pockets” (sound pockets). The sound can be enjoyed both in stereo and in 3D, the company specifies, with the latter mode to fully express the 360 ° potential of the device.

From the first tests, the thing that most upsets users is the possibility that a sound that seems to be reproduced by a speaker or speaker is not perceptible to those nearby and that when you leave its range of action it disappears as if by magic. . “It’s something that happens around you that others don’t hear – explains product manager Ayana Wallwater – you don’t have to tell the device where you are, it’s not a direct stream to a particular location. It follows you by creating a personal sound environment around you. It reproduces what you asked him directly, opening up a world that contains the sound you have chosen ».

Although the idea of the sound beaming is not unprecedented, in fact the company is the first to launch a consumer product of this type on the market. The arrival in stores is scheduled for Christmas 2021… and probably Elon Musk will already be thinking about making some changes a Neuralink to his “neural wires”.
