November is over, but “Lovembra” continues – “Rīgas Modes” publishes a new video

The band “Rīgas Modes” releases a video for the song “Lovium” from the new album “True Intentions”.

In the new album includes 13 songs largely inspired by 1980s pop music. Musicians such as Ainars Virga, Linda Leen, Sniedze Prauliņa and several of the released singles (“Wild Horses”, “We Drove All Night”, “Dancing Alone”, “Don’t Make Me Wait (More)”) are participating in the recording as guest artists active rotation of domestic radio stations.

“Lov manufacture” is the closing composition of the album “True Intentions” and is kept in an intimate manner. The video of the song was shot in Riga and Berlin by Ritvars Bluka.

“I really like Riga between autumn and winter, and a visit to Berlin at the end of the year is almost a tradition. This song was written during a period of self-isolation that I, like others, spent four walls thinking about a better future. The music was almost the only thing that raised any expectations, so I picked up my guitar from time to time and returned to this theme, which eventually became a full-fledged album song. “November” is not just about the dark months of the year, and situations where someone has to reveal can happen at any time. Maybe one of you has felt similar, ”says Kalvis Bormanis, the vocalist of Rīgas Modes.

You can listen to True Intent on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other streaming sites.

“Rīgas Modes” are: Kalvis Bormanis (vocals), Reinis Papulis (guitar), Anete Stuce (keyboards), Andris Apīnis (bass) and Mareks Ameriks (drums).
