Nova Arianto leaks Indonesia U-17 National Team activities in Spain: There are 5 test matches!

New Arianto revealed some insight into the activities of his foster children while he was in Spain. Coach Indonesia National Team U-17 he said, there would be several test matches while Garuda Muda was there.

Nova Arianto completes preparations for the Indonesia U-17 National Team ahead of their appearance in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualifier Garuda Muda joins Australia U-17, Kuwait U-17 and Mariana Islands a North U-17 in Group G.

However, before that, Nova had made long preparations by holding a selection and training camp (TC). Nova announced that one of the training camp agendas will be held in Spain, which is expected to start between 15-31 September 2024.

Nova gave a little insight into the activities that the Indonesian U-17 National Team does in the Matador Country. The 44-year-old coach said that five test matches will be played by Garuda Muda.

“There are supposed to be five tests (in Spain). Spain had several tests that I saw very well. First we had England, France, Italy at that time we looked at it. But in the update, they didn’t happen,” said Nova, quoted by the channel. YouTube Arya Sinulingga, Sunday (11/8/2024).

Nevertheless, Nova promises that the opponents of the Indonesian U-17 National Team in the test match will not be random. Because of that, this Semarang-born coach wants to prove the quality of his players when they meet higher level teams.

“But there are several opponents who are above us in terms of quality. From what I can see in terms of features, we will meet Australia. It can be said that Australia is on the continent of Europe,” said Nova.

“(The test) will be a good experience for the players, as they will experience playing with players or countries whose level is above us. Because we hope that by playing against a higher standard, the players will be able to make more progress,” he added.
