Disturbances in perspective. Rail traffic will be “very disrupted” from Sunday morning to Tuesday morning in the South-West due to a strike by New Aquitaine signalmen for their salaries and job creation, the SNCF announced on Friday. The circulation of the TGV will be especially disturbed on Monday.
“Traffic on the high-speed line between Paris and Bordeaux will be provided on Sunday March 6 until the end of the afternoon”, with a last departure from Paris at 6 p.m. in one direction and a last departure from Bordeaux at 9 p.m. hours, the company said. “Some adaptations are to be expected for traffic” on Tuesday according to SNCF Voyageurs, while SNCF Réseau specifies that “traffic will gradually resume from 8 a.m. and [que] the situation will return to normal from 12 p.m. ”.
